Database Transfer via USB for PC replacement

OLD PC

Step 1: Exit on Windows

Step 2: Plug in the USB

Step 3: : Stop all 3 servers.

Step 4: Backup database (on home screen) and let it complete.

Step 5: open C:\PlatyPOS\PlatyPOSData\Back

Step 6: Select PlatyPOS.Bak and PlatyPOS_images.BAK and paste them to the USB folder.

Step 7: Open C:\PlatyPOS\PlatyPOSClient and copy the following files

Step 8: Paste these files into the USB folder.

Now shut down the old POS and transfer all the cables accordingly and turn on the new POS.

New PC

Turn the New FEC Pc on –

Step 1: Shut down all 3 servers quickly.

Step 2: open the USB Folder and copy PlatyPOS.Bak and PlatyPOS_images.BAK and paste them in C:\PlatyPOS\PlatyPOSData\Back “Copy and merge or replace”

Step 3: open C:\PlatyPOS\PlatyPOSClient Paste and click “copy and merge or replace” on

Step 4: Click restore database on home screen and test the printer, EFTPOS, and web order printer.
