Install Oracle for ODBC connection on user machines : Oracle 8

Run the "hbi\Kits\Oracle\Oracle installation Media\cd-8i-NT\setup.exe" file in order to install the Oracle

Default Options> Next

Choose Client version

Select Application User :

Install.

Net8 will fail; That's fine ; Hit ok and Exit ; It will say Oracle installation is done

Now copy this whole folder "hbi\Kits\Oracle\winnt" and paste it in User C drive

Also copy this file "hbi\Kits\Oracle\tnsnames\oracle8i\users\tnsnames.ora" locally to device on this location C:\Oracle\Ora81\network\ADMIN
